Domino Midwife, Maternity Outpatients, National Women’s Health, GreenlaneClinical Centre Opportunity to work as an autonomous midwife, providing holistic high quality care for women and their families working across the scope of midwifery. A Domino Midwife provides care for women choosing to birth at Auckland Hospital, providing LMC care for 52 women per year on behalf of National Women's Health. The on call roster ensures four days off in each two week period including alternate weekends. A multidisciplinary team is available for you to utilise within ADHB including obstetricians, physiotherapists, physicians, social workers and lactation consultants. There will also be the opportunity to liaise with GPs, well child providers and other organisations within the wider community. Further support is available within the strong working relationship with your domino partner as well as your other domino and community colleagues and charge midwife. You will need to be self motivated, flexible, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate effective time management. The ability to assess and manage clinical situations both in the community and hospital settings is an important attribute.
