Since 1992 Kapiti Midwives have been providing Continuity of Midwifery Care to women who live on the Kapiti Coast – an area which is about 50 km north of Wellington. The geographical area covered is from Pukerua Bay to Te Horo – but will occasionally extend that area if requested. We are highly regarded in the local community and are proud to have been the first midwifery group to provide continuity of Midwifery services on the Kapiti Coast. We offer care for delivery at the Paraparaumu Maternity Unit, Kenepuru Maternity Unit, Wellington Women’s’ Hospital or in your own home.

All midwives in the group are members of the New Zealand College of Midwives [NZCOM] and present for review by our professional body on a yearly basis.
