I love being a midwife. This is a special time for you and your family and I feel honored when I am chosen to be part of this. As a mother of 3 children, I understand the significance of feeling comfortable with the person caring for you. You will have a better birth experience if you feel safe and supported.

I provide sensitive midwifery care throughout pregnancy, birth and the 4 weeks after your baby is born. Your birthing options include River Ridge East Birth Centre, Waikato Hospital, Matariki Maternity, Rhoda Read Maternity or Home Birth. Your pregnancy and birth care are free (for NZ residents) and we will get together at regular intervals during the pregnancy with these visits becoming more frequent as the birth draws closer. I provide for you the information, education and support necessary to make the appropriate maternal choices. Should you require specialist care I am able to refer you to the team at Waikato Hospital. I still remain your main carer throughout.
