I have been a practicing independent midwifery since 1994. I am currently working from the Midwife Shoppe. They support me professionally and personally. I am also a member of the NZ College of Midwives.

My philosophy

My philosophy is that I support women and her whanau to be the best they can be during our time together. I believe pregnancy, labor and birth and afterwards is a normal and yet extraordinary, experience in life. An experience that one must journey through with support, information and trust in the process and those involved during it. I believe women are responsible for their health and their life decisions. I believe in not interfering with childbearing unless necessary. I believe in physical and emotional affirmations that nurture your experience. I am honored to spend this time with whanau
