I am a wife, mother and registered midwife. I have lots of interests many including the outdoors and more recently trout fishing. I enjoy reading many different styles. Scrapbooking is a hobby as is knitting, cross stitch and attending most of my family activities.

I grew up in the Manawatu attending a smaller primary school and Girls High School, later meeting and marrying a great man from Feilding. We have made the Waikato home now even though I returned to Palmerston North to complete my degree through Massey University.

My philosophy for midwifery is very simple. I think that pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding are natural passages in many womens lives, this is all as individuals. I believe all should be treated as normal until there is reason to be treated otherwise. My training and experience has taught me many things, most of all that all situations are not the same, and as long as women, families and midwives work in a professional partnership the best of outcomes for all individuals can be sought.

I have a passion for education in all forms, for both myself and my clients. I look forward to having contact with some great people and will work for what you want as your experience.
