Hello, my name is Anne McMahon.   Originally from Taranaki, I have lived in Hamilton since 1988.   I have 3 daughters - the eldest is currently studying at Massey, Palmerston North and two who are both attending schools in Hamilton.

I graduated from the Waikato Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Midwifery, and a vision to enhance the birthing experiences of women I will be working with.

To my practice I bring knowledge gained from life experiences, a personal and positive attitude toward birthing, evidence based education in the art of midwifery, and the ability to encourage and support others to achieve their potential as individuals.

Working in Hamilton and some outlying areas, I work with 4 - 6 women per month throughout their pregnancy, labour and birth, and up to 4 - 5 weeks postnatally. Antenatal visits are conducted at Midwives Inc situated at 186 Hukanui Road, Chartwell, Hamilton.

When selecting a place to birth, women I work with may chose a homebirth, one of the primary birthing units I have access to River Ridge East and Waterford, or Waikato Hospital.
