Bruce and I live in Warkworth. We have three daughters, Amelia, Gabrielle and Zoe. I registered as a nurse in 1976 and worked in hospitals as a Rural Public Health Nurse. I registered as a Midwife in 1982 and have been an independent midwife since 1992. I love midwifery and contact with women and their families. I believe women should actively participate in planning their care so it is individualised to their needs. I have a special interest in breastfeeding and enjoy teaching and keeping up to date in all obstetric and parenting matters. My interests are my family, horses, gardening, reading, handcrafts and small block farming.
