I live in Matakana and have two teenage daughters. I qualified as a midwife in the UK in 2005. I believe that pregnancy is a natural process and that women should be at the centre of any decisions surrounding their maternity care. I aim to support women; their partners and whanau to ensure that childbirth will be a positive experience. I believe that the care given to women should be based on their individual needs and choices that she may wish to take. I aim to provide a holistic approach to this care in which women will make informed choices about childbirth. I enjoy immensely birthing babies in water. I am passionate about my role as a midwife and aim to empower women to attain the birthing experience they will remember with joy.
Birth Options: Home, Warkworth Birthing Centre, Wellsford Birthing Unit, North Shore Hospital and Whangarei Hospital.
