I am a registered nurse and midwife, trained in Wellington in 1971. I have been self employed as a midwife in Nelson for the past 15 years.

My average workload is about 55 women per year and I am strongly committed to continuity of care to the women and their families. I do all my visits at your home if you are happy with that. I support home birth if that is your choice.

I work with another local midwife, Wendy de Groot and will make sure that you will meet her during your pregnancy if back up is required.

I am married with three sons and now have four grandchildren who keep me busy. I love my job, it is a priviledge to work with families at such a special time in their lives.
