Philosophy of Practice

Our philosophy of practice has its roots firmly based on the New Zealand College of Midwives philosophy and code of ethics.  Our care takes place in partnership with women.    We are committed to providing continuity of midwifery care to enhance and protect the normal process of childbirth. 

Such care will be provided in a manner that is flexible, creative, empowering and supportive and safe.
