Caroline Hever, Richmond

Caroline Hever (left) trained and worked as a nurse and midwife in the 1980’s in the UK.  She moved to New Zealand in 2003 with her family and worked as a midwife in Invercargill before moving to Richmond in 2008. She works in partnership with women to help them make informed choices about their pregnancy and birth.  She offers individualised care to women and their families throughout the Nelson region.

Ruth Elliott trained as a midwife in the UK and worked for several years in London before moving to Nelson in 2003 with her family.  She offers sensitive and individualized care to women and their families from all areas choosing to have their baby in Nelson Hospital. 

Caroline and Ruth work together, providing back up for each others clients.  They ensure that you meet them both during routine appointments in your pregnancy so that you are comfortable with them both.
