Welcome to my page.

I am here because I believe passionately that women have the right to choose their maternity care, & where & how to birth their babies.

I have over 25 years experience in primary & secondary Maternity Care and have been in New Zealand for the last 8 ½  years, working as a Lead Maternity Care Midwife.

Last year, I founded Blenheim & Rural Midwives, so that women could choose to have a Midwife who had time for them, & also so that I could give more support & education to those who wished to have a Natural Birth.

Tash Hawtin is my partner, & as we expand, we hope to have another midwife join us.

Information on all aspects of the progress to parenthood are necessary for the woman & her supporters; not only to make their informed choices, but also, to build confidence in the body's natural function.

Maximum monthly births are 4-5, this gives the time necessary for all those little things that women don't feel able to ask when they see someone is rushed.

I have also trained for 3 years to gain a Shiatsu Diploma, which both women & their supporters find extremely helpful in both Pregnancy, Labour & postnatally.
