Birth Journey midwives recognise the importance of the unique journey a woman makes through pregnancy and childbirth into motherhood.
We offer friendly, supportive, personalised care to every woman and her family/whanau and look forward to sharing this time with you.
Your midwifery care will encompass regular visits, at home or clinic, which also include childbirth and parenting education.
We provide care during labour and birth in the environment of your choice, supporting your individual birth plan.
Postnatal care, ensuring the health and well being of mother and baby, including breastfeeding support up to six weeks after the birth of your baby.
We also offer:
- free pregnancy testing
- 24 hour availability
- midwifery care to all areas of Christchurch
- liaison with and referral to other health professionals, if required
- confidentiality assured
