I have been a registered midwife for 10 years and practiced in both rural and urban settings. I aim to care for approximately 50 women per year with the support of Tina Patrick.

I focus on providing care to women in west and Auckland. I primarily support women birthing either at home or in Waitakere hospital and can provide care at Birth Care in Parnell. I will continue to care for women required to birth at North Shore Hospital due to medical or pregnancy-related issues and am happy caring for women who choose to stay at Helensville Birthing Unit after their baby is born

I believe pregnancy, birth and parenthood are fundamentally healthy and natural life events and should unfold without unnecessary intervention. I work to protect and promote these normal processes and encourage women to birth within the context of their family and community – whatever that means for them.

There is no 'right' way to grow, birth and parent our children, each family must find their own path. I will work with you to ensure you have strong support, thorough and accurate information and the space to choose – however your pregnancy, labour and birth unfolds.
