Tina Patrick, Birthwest, West and Central West Auckland

Hi, I am Tina Patrick and I have been working in West and Central West Auckland as a midwife for 15 years.

I trained in Auckland and have a Bachelor of Health Science (Midwifery). I am a member of the NZ College of Midwives and as such attend annual reviews of my practise and keep up to date with current research and on-going education.

Pregnancy and birth are powerful and transformative events in the life of a family and I feel very privileged to have been the midwife at more than 700 births in West and Central Auckland.  It has been a great joy for me to have had ongoing involvement with many families for the births of several of their children.

I am very experienced with home and water births and I can support you to give birth in the place that feels right for you whether that be home, Waitakere Hospital or Birthcare. 

I promote woman and family centered care, believing that honest, on-going communication between client and midwife is crucial for a satisfying & safe birth experience.
