Publications
The New Zealand College of Midwives produces a Journal and a Newsletter. These are free to all members and can also be purchased separately or on subscription.
 | The Journal is published twice a year in April and October. The Journal contributes to the development of midwifery knowledge through its focus on original midwifery research. |  | The newsletter ‘Midwifery News' is published four times a year and aims to keep midwives abreast of current midwifery issues, both nationally and internationally. |
 | The NZCOM also publishes the Midwives Handbook for Practice, Midwifery Standards Review Handbook, Breastfeeding Handbook, as well as producing several promotional items such as postcards, bumper stickers and other publications of interest to midwives and women. These can all be purchased from NZCOM National Office. |  | The NZCOM supports the publication Tummy Talk. The stories in this magazine are written by the women themselves and will contribute to both women's and midwives confidence, uplift our hearts and help us all celebrate birth as the amazing experience it is. We are hoping for more positive births stories from both women and midwives to contribute to future issues. |
