Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi(About this position)
We are looking for two NZ registered midwives with loads of passion and commitment to join our Motueka maternity team on a temporary basis.
We have two positions available as follows:
- One fixed-term 0.6FTE vacancy working 48 hours a fortnight until 16 May 2021
- One temporary 0.9FTE parental leave vacancy working 72 hours a fortnight for up to 12-months, from mid-May 2021

The Motueka Maternity unit is a primary birthing and postnatal care unit with around 40-50 births a year and around 140 postnatal transfers from Nelson. The unit delivers a highly regarded postnatal care model working in partnership with LMC’s and whānau to provide whānau centred care.
Midwives with current roles in the region are welcome to apply.

You will be a high performing midwife with total commitment to women centred and culturally respectful care. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills. You will have the skills and experience to staff the unit on your own as well as the ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the broader organisational health care objectives.
