The BreastED-FedED education day presents a comprehensive, fresh and up to date look at all aspects of newborn baby feeding from pregnancy to six weeks post-birth. We will cover breastfeeding support and also support for women who are using expressed breast milk, donor human milk, bottles, and or, infant formula in maternity facilities and at home. The day will focus on midwifery practice, and how we can best support pregnant women and new mothers with all the information they need about all aspects of baby feeding. The day will also cover new research, contemporary breastfeeding and infant feeding discourses, and women’s experiences.
