This course has been developed as a resource to explore mentoring as a professional support mechanism.

The format of this course is a combination of online self-guided learning and self-reflection activities. The course is a prerequisite to become a mentor within a College programme (Midwifery First Year of Practice, rural, general mentoring).

In this course you will be introduced to:

• Professional support mechanisms
• Mentoring in Aotearoa
• The art of mentoring
• Kete for mentoring
