This course explores the rich story of Aotearoa, past and present. With this knowledge we gain a greater understanding and are better equipped to make informed, thoughtful decisions for the future. This is captured in the whakataukī |Māori proverb Titiro whakamuri, kia anga whakamua, look to the past to move forward.
This course has been designed in conjunction with Sharon Annett, a Pākehā treaty educator, who has a passion for supporting people to understand how we can honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
