The Journal is the official publication of the New Zealand College of Midwives.

The New Zealand College of Midwives Journal uses an electronic article-based publishing approach to publication and provides free electronic access to all published papers. Within electronic article-based publishing the editors build each issue as an “issue in progress” from papers that have been submitted and accepted for publication. Once an issue is complete, it is printed. This approach supports faster publication and wider accessibility to our papers. The Journal is printed in full and circulated to our members in December each year.
