Sometimes, questions or concerns arise after receiving midwifery care. The College’s Resolution Support Service is here to help women and gender diverse people talk through their experience in a safe, respectful, and supportive way.
This free and confidential service connects you with a trained midwifery representative and a trained consumer representative who will listen, support open discussions, and work with you resolve your concerns about your care.
While this process isn’t disciplinary, it can lead to professional development for the midwife, such as further education or a Midwifery Standards Review. It is also a way for midwives to reflect on the experience of care from the consumer perspective to strengthen their practice.
