The NZ Nurses Memorial Fund was founded as a memorial to to the 10 nurses who drowned on board the SS Marquette in 1915 to provide financial assistance in times of hardship.

This fund is available to Nurses and Midwives, practicing or retired, who have completed two years of employment since registration in NZ.
