Accessibility to quality education which meets the needs of the learner and the profession is paramount to the College.
The College has published an Education Framework (Pairman 2000) providing a framework and guidelines for midwifery education at both pre-registration and post-registration levels. When the framework was developed it was acknowledged that it would need to evolve as changes in education occurred. This framework was reviewed in 2011, click here to view.
