Your typical day will be spent providing antenatal and postnatal care to the wāhine of the West Coast region. The option of offering homebirth or birthing in our Maternity Units at Te Nikau. (Greymouth) or Te Rau Kawakawa (Westport).

Outside of work, you will have access to some of the Aotearoa’s best kept scenic secrets, with the West Coast especially popular for tramping, rafting, canoeing and many other outdoor pursuits. As well as low-cost housing, daily flights from Hokitika to Christchurch.

Although you will be based in the community, you will be provided with access to education, training and support from the team at Te Nikau and collegially supported by your central and southern colleagues providing LMC care.

About you:

• NZ Midwifery Registration and a current practicing certificate
