MESR (Midwifery Emergency Skills Refresher): 

This workshop fulfils the requirements for the mandatory full MESR day for recertification requirements for Te Tatau o te Whare Kahu | Midwifery Council. It is an opportunity for midwives to refresh their knowledge, have simulated hands on emergency skills practice, along with updates on current evidence to inform practice.

This day workshop will also focus on the psychosocial aspects of providing emergency care as part of the midwife’s role in supporting women, people and whānau, with opportunities for midwives to share practice experiences to reflect and help sustain them in practice.
