Accessibility of educational opportunities for midwives is crucial and the College continues to support this by continually developing workshops to support midwives in practice. All workshops are held throughout New Zealand in both urban and rural settings.
The College is an accredited provider of midwifery continuing education by Te Tatau o te Whare Kahu | the Midwifery Council of New Zealand. For further details on the Midwifery Council Recertification programme please click here
The continuing education programme provides opportunities to enable New Zealand midwives to engage in continuing education and ‘share and learn with colleagues’.
