We are circulating this invitation on behalf of Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Wahi Ora who are hosting three webinars regarding the Kahu Taurima work, which is focused on maternity and early years services changes which will occur as a result of the health system reform. The content of the presentation in three webinars is identical. The Monday evening hui is intended for a midwifery audience, however midwives are invited to join the webinar at the timing which suits them best. Links and details are below.
Invitation to virtual huis: Kahu Taurima, maternity and early years
Join us for an online webinar introducing Kahu Taurima, a joint programme between Te Aka Whai Ora and Te Whatu Ora to transform maternity and early years services, from conception to five years old, for all people across Aotearoa.
This programme of work is a key priority area in Te Pae Tata and work is underway to focus on equity outcomes for women, whānau and children.
This webinar is an opportunity for midwives in the community to get a better understanding of what’s happening and what it means for you.
You’ll have the opportunity to post questions and there will be a focussed question and answer session at the end.
